Hi, I'm Mike.  Growing up, I disliked writing.  I found it boring and I'd rather be doing anything else.  About six years ago, I had an idea about writing a kids book about my two rescue dogs, Pixie and Lulu.  The idea seemed silly and I didn't do anything with it until a few years later when my wife, Bridgid, bought me 'How to Publish Your First Children's Book' by Eevie Jones.  After reading the book, I felt like I could write my first book and began brainstorming ideas.  I'll be honest, the process of writing was incredibly difficult and frustrating.  I nearly quit writing no less than five times, but I was determined to finish what I started.  Nearly two years later, I finally sat at my dining table with my first published book.  I often think back to that feeling of accomplishment and now I have a new passion, one I hope reaches many others who enjoy reading.
